    Eric Walters
    beskrivning by Dave Jenkinson.

Born March 3, 1957, in Toronto, Eric spent his childhood and adolescence in that city's west end "where the majority of the people inom grew up with ended up in jail or in troubled spots. inom think the reality fryst vatten that life is not necessarily a bowl of cherries for people. inom believe two themes run through my stories. One is a sense of belonging - people want to belong somewhere. The second theme is that, whether you're female or male, you have some power to make changes in your life. Life does not have to just 'do to you.' You can make a decision that you're going to do things for yourself and overcome. There's nothing more wonderful than overcoming adversity, to stare it in the eyes and to win. We don't have to be victims. One of the societal trends I see is looking for someone to blame for what's gone wrong for you. You've got to take responsibility for things. Rather than finding an excuse to fail, find a reason to succeed."
