Under the name of Caprile, Lorenzo, a long-awaited retrospective exhibition of the three decades of fruitful career of designer Lorenzo Caprile arrives in Madrid. He is known for making the corset one of his most distinctive features, as well as being a favorite among royalty, the aristocracy, and the world of film and theater.
Formed between New York and Florence, and after working for legendary fashion houses like Lancetti and Cadena, Caprile opened his workshop in the heart of the Salamanca district in the capital in 1994. A place that became the magical space where some of the most iconic and celebrated designs of the last three decades of fashion in our country came to life. The designer has received, among other important awards, the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts awarded to him by the Ministry of Culture in 2018.
