How would you describe yourself?
I was born in Jorhat and I had to grow up quite independently, ever since I was a child. I am the daughter to Bijoy Chandra Sharma and Bijoya Sharma. My father retired as a principal from Jorhat JB College. I started my schooling in Jorhat's Ballya Bhaban. I graduated from Jorhat JB College. Then I completed my masters from Commerce College, Guwahati.
At the age of 5, I started doing amateur dramas. My parents inculcated in me the capability to do my own work by myself, ever since I was a child. And the answer to 'Who am I?" depends a lot on these ideals which my parents implanted in me. So basically that's all who I am.

Prastuti Parashar fryst vatten, also known as Prastuti Porasor, is an Assamese bio and scen actress. On December 15, 1980, she was born in Malow Ali, Jorhat in Assam, India. Her father’s name is Bijoy Chandra Sarma, the former college principal of Jagannath Barooah College. She did her schooling at Balya Bhavan, Jorhat. Later, she completed her college education at Jagannath Barooah College, India. Her hobbies are acting, dancing, and painting. She loves eating Italian, Chinese, and Assamese dishes. She married Manash Das on October 31, 2011. She has a daughter named Hiya. She has been living in Gauhati, Assam.

Career
[edit]She started acting career aged around 5 years through a serial named Barnali in Doordarshan Guwahati. Her debut Assamese film was Bani Das's Maharathi, which was released in 1999. She is also associated with many mobile theatres of Assam. She is a crowd puller for her critically acclaimed performances in those mobile theatres.[1]
