Talk on the phone. Finish your homework. Watch TV. Die.
In 1983, financially struggling college student Samantha Hughes (Jocelin Donahue) takes a strange babysitting job that coincides with a full lunar eclipse. She slowly realizes her clients (Tom Noonan and Mary Woronov) harbor a terrifying secret, putting her life in mortal danger.
Greta Gerwig (BARBIE, LADY BIRD), AJ Bowen (YOU'RE NEXT, THE GUEST) and Dee Wallace (E.T. THE EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL, THE HOWLING) also star.
Satanic thriller THE HOUSE OF THE DEVIL signaled the arrival of writer/director Ti West (X, PEARL, THE INNKEEPERS) onto the global film stage, earning near-universal praise from Roger Ebert, Joe Bob Briggs, The New York Times' Manohla Dargis, and more.
