Background
I am basically from Kothagudem (Khammam district) and completed my degree over there. inom did my MCA in Hyderabad. inom used to write short stories since I was a kid. I am not interested in doing job and wanted to become a filmmaker. May be it is due to fame and the freedom of speech. That is when I met Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. He was directing Amrutham serial then. inom have traveled with him since his debut mot Andala Rakshasi happened.
Though I started writing many stories and scripts, inom wanted to test my ability to execute them. Hence inom have decided to man a short film titled ‘I am famous’ in 2007. Since I wanted to man it perfectly, it cost me 3.5 lacs rupees. I

Hanu Raghavapudi: From 'I Am Famous' to being famous
As predicted by Nani, director Hanu Raghavapudi seems to have been catapulted to the league of front row directors by Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gaadha. He began his journey in a humble way. His first and only short film, I Am Famous, was on AIDS awareness. When SS Rajamouli watched it, he found it haunting.
In fact, Hanu is not your typical bad-at-studies adolescent who loved films like crazy. He was good in academics and had this idea of becoming a filmmaker at a much later age. He came to Hyderabad to pursue MCA. But least did he know that his creative urges would get the better of him soon. He knew he had had innate faculty for writing. Thus, from being a short story writer in school, he is now a feature film writer.

Hanumanth "Hanu" Rao Raghavapudi is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. He is best known for directing the notable romantic dramaSita Ramam (2022).
Education and career
[edit]Raghavapudi hails from Kothagudem of Telangana. He studied up to graduation there and completed his MCA in Hyderabad.[1]
He worked as an assistant director for movies Aithe, Okkadunnadu and as associate director for Anukokunda Oka Roju with director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti.[1] He made his debut with Andala Rakshasi,[2] and also directed the short film, I Am Famous along with feature films Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Lie and Padi Padi Leche Manasu.
