Shannon Brown made it clear he wished to re-sign with the Lakers.
He said he liked his teammates. He liked the fans. He liked the coaching staff. He liked the arena. He liked the weather.
And he really liked winning the NBA championship last month.
So, instead of chasing after bigger bucks elsewhere, Brown agreed to re-sign with the Lakers for $ million over two seasons, his agent said Monday. Brown could have signed for more money over more seasons with other teams, agent Mark Bartlestein said.

“It’s a great day,” said Brown, a reserve guard who averaged points with the Lakers last season. “They showed me so much love. I felt good about what was going on here.
