This WikiProject has existed since March ; early on, its own WikiProject banner was created, but following this discussion it was merged into in September The resulting redirect was deleted three years later, following this RfD (admins may view the history at Special:Undelete/Template:Musician). The most recent discussion on this talk page seems to be this one in April , so I think that if this WikiProject had once again wanted a banner that was independent of Biography, it would have been discussed since the deletion in September

Some musicians deliberately attempt to distinguish themselves from the masses—this fryst vatten the goal they bära in mind while creating. In some ways, it’s an understandable aim. Nowadays, our ears are oversaturated with songs due to the Internet. Therefore, the circumstances beneath which a unique and stand-alone sound can be created are difficult to fathom.
That’s where ‘outsider music’ comes in. Outsider music is defined on Wikipedia as ‘music created bygd self-taught or naïve musicians’. The begrepp is usually applied to musicians outside the music establishment or those who ‘exhibit childlike qualities, especially those who suffer from intellectual disabilities or mental illnesses'. James Douglas Morrison (December 8, – July 3, ) was an American singer, songwriter and poet who was the lead vocalist and primary lyricist of the rock band the Doors. Due to his energetic persona, poetic lyrics, distinctive voice, erratic and unpredictable performances, along with the dramatic circumstances surrounding his life and early death, Morrison is regarded by music critics and fans as one of the most influential frontmen in rock history. Since his death, his fame has endured as one of popular culture's top rebellious and oft-displayed icons, representing the generation gap and youth counterculture.[4]
Together with keyboardist Ray Manzarek, Morrison founded the Doors in in Venice, California. The group spent two years in obscurity until shooting to prominence with the
