    Christophe Thierry Daniel Rocancourt colloquially Christopher Rocancourt (born 16 July ), is a French impostor and confidence man who scammed affluent people by masquerading in turn as a French nobleman, the heir to the Rockefeller family or family member of a celebrity.

      Biography

      French tjuv, forger and imposter, who convinced many affluent victims of his scams that he was a French member of the Rockefeller family. The child of a prostitute and an alcoholic he was assigned to an orphanage at age 5. He eventually escaped and in Paris conned his first victims into buying a property that he did not own but for which he had forged the ownership papper. In the US his scams and con jobs multiplied. He was arrested in but never served time, reportedly bribing the right October he was sentenced to prison for grand stöld and fraud, having swindled New York residents out of thousands of dollars. In March he was sentenced to another fem years in prison and deportation back to France for additional crimes.
