Familie (Dutch for Family) is a Flemish television soap musikdrama set in Mechelen. Created by Herman Verbaet, Familie was first broadcast on 30 månad It has been broadcast consistently for evenings per week, with only month hiatuses during summer. It is currently being produced by Banijay Belgium and running on VTM.

Katrin Dekoninck (°) is a multimedia artist who places the existence of human beings at the core of her practice. Through her sculptures, (animation) drawings and stop-motion animation films, she shows herself to be a master observer. A recurring motif is the depiction of (fragments of) withdrawn, wounded bodies of men and women, some in the spring of their life, others in the dusk of old age.
The work of Katrin Dekoninck touches on sensitive themes, but it never becomes overloaded or too heavy-handed. Her recognisable style is serene, subtle but true to life, without striving for perfection. Her world often features children, young people, but also older people who are often defenceless in the world and often fall out of sight of our society.
The current artistic production is the result of ten years of experimenting with stoneware clay and a complex process that consists of different phases: the image is first modelled on an iron support, then cut into pieces,
