Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, also known as Swatantryaveer Savarkar, Vinayak Savarkar or simply Veer Savarkar in Marathi, was a freedom fighter and an Indian independence leader and politician who coined the Hindu nationalist ideology of Hindutva.
